About Nageh PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 2009 under the direction of Prof. Craig A. Grimes on the use of 1D nanoarchitectures in solar energy applications. Currently working as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Laser Dynamics Laboratory, Georgia Institute of Technology under the direction of Prof. Mostafa A. El-Sayed on the fabrication of hybrid materials for solar energy conversion. Dr. Allam received his BS and MS degrees from the Chemistry Department at Cairo University in 1998 and 2003, respectively. In 2005, he moved to Max Planck Institute for an internship. Dr Allam is the recipient of the highly prestigious Ford Foundation International Fellowship (2005-2008) and RAK-CAM postdoctoral Fellowship (2010). His biography was selected to appear in Madison “Who's Who in the World”, 2009, Marquis “Who's Who in the world”, 2006 and 2008 Editions. Recently, Dr Allam has been nominated by the International Biographical Center, Cambridge, England as one of the top 100 scientists in the field in the year 2009. Dr Allam is invited to be a scholar of Magna Cum Laude Honor Society and Golden Key International Honor Society. He is a member of a quite number of scientific societies such as Materials Research Society, Electrochemical Society, American Physical Society, Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science and ASTM International. He has been elected to the editorial board of the Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Research, the Journal of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and the Journal of Recent patents in Corrosion Science. Dr Allam is acting as a Reviewer for a quite number of journals such as Journal of Physical Chemistry B & C, Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, Environmental Science and Technology, Electrochemical and Solid-State Letters, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research and Journal of Surface and Coatings Technology. Dr Allam published over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles in the areas of electrochemistry, nanomaterials and solar energy applications.
