About Robert Robert Martone has led neuroscience research and technology teams as a research pharmacologist for twenty years. He also spent several years conducting academic research in molecular neurobiology, with a focus on the molecular genetics of familial neuropathies, and the development of biomarkers for CNS tumors. He current research focus is neuro-oncology biomarker discovery and development. He has contributed to Scientific American Mind Matters blog, and has edited and translated two volumes of Renaissance Italian literature.
