First question; do you use the comment tracker in its current form?  We are pondering changing the comment tracker from its current position in the upper right to something like this, that is always at the bottom of the page, so sort of outside the site:

If only a few people use it there is not much point; development costs time (and therefore money) but we want to make reasonable steps to make it flow more smoothly for members.  The overwhelming majority of people are anonymous readers so it won't do much for them.

Second, we get press releases on a lot of weird stuff.  Some of it we post because it is so fascinating but much of it may be too kooky for a serious science site.   I have a lot of URLs I bought when I started this and since and one of them is called ScienceOddities.net and we use it for internal testing (much like we used sciencetome.com when we created SB V2 so you could see it in progress) but do you think people would be interested in a lot of the more weird science that we get?  If so, we could set up a site for that and see how it does but that also costs time (read: money) so I am taking an informal survey on if that stuff is popular or if someone else already does it better.
