Grad students - the Spring 2010 edition of our Science Writing Competition is going on right now!  The official rules are here, but the big idea is that we are inviting graduate students to write about science – on any scientific topic of their choosing. It is our hope to discover those exceptional students that not only know their science, but can also effectively communicate it to the scientific community as well as to the general public.

Entries must be submitted by March 15th.  And then beginning April 1st we'll let the Scientific Blogging readers cast their votes to determine the winners.

Check in on the entries as they are submitted by clicking on the red "Contest" button at the right of our menu bar.  And if you're a currently enrolled grad student, be sure to submit an entry of your own.  There's prize money for the winners, as well as a 3-month paid writing internship for the author of the article that receives the most votes overall.  Good luck!
