- iMOVE and Ghorfa Will be Hosting the Forum in Berlin From May 6th - 7th, 2009

iMOVE and the Ghorfa Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry will continue their strategic cooperation by hosting the 1st German-Arab Education and Vocational Training Forum, which is scheduled to take place in Berlin/Germany from May 6th - 7th, 2009. High-ranking representatives from both public and private institutions will attend the event under the auspices of Dr. Annette Schavan, the German Federal Minister of Education and Research. Amr Moussa, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, will be among the participants. The commitment on the part of Dr. Schavan, who will deliver a keynote at the Forum, emphasises Germany's strong focus on collaboration in the education sector. The Forum is a platform for developing and cultivating a network of both German and Arab education and vocational training providers, along with industrial firms and service providers interested in strengthening the education sector in Arab countries. During the Forum, speakers will analyse the current situation in their respective countries and new initiatives and trends in education. A key event will be the presentation of successful cooperations. Visits to educational institutions in Berlin and matchmaking will complete the programme.
