LUXEMBOURG and DONGYING, China, June 4, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- CNPV Solar Power SA, a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic products, today announced the launch of the company's premium photovoltaic modules series with power ranging from 295Wp to 305Wp made with high efficiency 156x156mm mono crystalline cells for Utility scale applications. The premium module series will be displayed at the Intersolar Europe Exhibition held in Munich, Germany from 9-11th June 2010. CNPV has already shipped 10MWp of these premium modules to a key strategic partner in Europe for a wide variety of applications ranging from commercial and industrial installations to utility-scale facilities.

The 72-cell premium module features large area, high-efficiency mono crystalline silicon solar cells, anti-reflection coated glass and high conductivity interconnected materials. The larger diameter (200mm) of the cells compared to the standard (195mm) with their high conversion efficiencies (17.5%) outperforms the industry average by 8%, which translates a module efficiency of 15.50%+. The enhanced anti-reflection coated glass ensures 94% transmittance at STC level and provides an additional 3% performance at field level installations. The use of soft, ductile and high-conductivity interconnected ribbons ensure minimal resistive power losses both at standard testing and field levels. The net effect is increased power without increasing surface area required for installation.

The premium module series is backed by CNPV's 25-year power output and 10-year product workmanship warranty from reputed European insurance companies. The premium modules are in production and available at 295Wp to 305Wp power ratings. CNPV markets the modules with the classification CNPV-285M to CNPV-290M as standard series and CNPV-295M to CNPV-305M as its premium series.
