STUTTGART, Germany, October 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Movianto, a Europe-wide logistics service provider for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, is further expanding its presence in Benelux - by opening a new subsidiary in the Netherlands.
The expansion to the Netherlands is an important move for Movianto as it sends a direct message to clients: Movianto is willing to provide individual market solutions in close proximity to its customers. Although the Benelux states are close to each other, Belgium and the Netherlands are still considered to be two separate markets which require not only separate warehouses but also individual client solutions in the respective markets. The new warehouse is situated in Oss, in the south of the Netherlands.
Movianto Netherlands will offer outsourcing warehousing and distribution services to the pharmaceutical industry and additional services such as order-to-cash and relabeling/repackaging. The warehouse in Oss, which has a storage capacity for 3,000 pallets, adheres to the high Movianto standards and is ISO 9001:2008 certified. In addition the facility complies with the quality requirements for pharmaceutical logistics and distribution.
In addition to the Netherlands, the Managing Director Patrick Esselaar will also be heading the operations in Belgium. Dirk Raes was successfully integrated into the European Movianto network this year.
Alexander Paasch, Managing Director of Movianto Group says of the move: Through the expansion of the Benelux region to the Movianto map, the company is now present in twelve European countries and in an even better position to provide clients with a range of logistics and distribution services customised to their exact needs.
