YOKOHAMA, Japan, February 9 /PRNewswire/ -- AVEVA (LSE:AVV) and Shinsei Giken have signed a USD300,000 contract that sees AVEVA supplying more of their flagship product - AVEVA PDMS -- to the specialist plant design company.
Shinsei Giken first subscribed to AVEVA solutions in 1998 and is one of Japan's pioneer 3D plant design companies. The company, founded in 1987, has been involved in various new and brownfield projects in the nuclear, semiconductor, oil gas, chemicals and other plant-related industries. Shinsei Giken is noted in Japan's power industry for its use of photogrammetry and 3D laser scanning to capture as-built data and convert it into fully intelligent PDMS models for revamp and retrofit projects.
