LUXEMBOURG, May 25, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- MACH, the leading provider of hub-based mobile communications exchange solutions, http://mach.com has appointed Lena Wittbjer to the newly created position of Head of CEO Office. In this role, Ms Wittbjer will be working alongside MACH's senior management teams to drive top level decision making efficiencies for speedy execution. She will also be responsible for maintaining the company's strong relationships with the GSMA and regulatory authorities, as well as for driving the company's Quality and Security initiative.

MACH's leadership position in the mobile communications industry stems from its ability to stay ahead of the market and create innovative services and solutions that both delight and exceed the needs of our customers. We have created this essential role to ensure a speedy execution of our growth strategy which will help us to further strengthen our industry leadership position, said Guy Dubois, President and CEO, MACH. With her strong international business background in the mobile industry, and deep understanding of operational, legal and technical issues and implications, Lena is ideal for this role and I look forward to welcoming her back to MACH.

Ms. Wittbjer rejoins MACH from the Luxembourg Ministry of State where she was Senior Advisor to the Media and Telecommunications department. Since its inception, MACH has been the market leader in the outsourced managed roaming services field, creating products and services that increase and assure mobile operator roaming revenues, said Ms. Wittbjer. I am thrilled to be returning at a time when MACH clearly confirms its unique market position both with its hub-based mobile communications exchange, HUB-XC(R), and its announced intention to be the leading global provider in all three areas of the mobile value chain - interconnectivity, interoperability and settlement.

Ms. Wittbjer holds an International B.Sc. in Business and French from the Gothenburg School of Economics, Sweden. She is a prominent speaker at industry and financial analyst conferences and seminars worldwide, and also lectures MBA students in Entrepreneurship at the University of Luxembourg.
