- Northampton College modernizes its IT and selects Ericom's PowerTerm WebConnect RemoteView to reduce IT overhead costs and simplify management of its learning environment
Ericom(R) Software is pleased to announce that Northampton College, has selected PowerTerm WebConnect RemoteView to empower its staff and students with secure remote application access capabilities. Over the course of 2009, Northampton will start to implement secure access via 1,000 licenses of PowerTerm WebConnect.
With a broad range of courses delivered to over 13,000 students, Northampton College has become one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the region. The College is currently undergoing a major transformation taking over 3 years to implement. With an anticipated cost of over 70 million pounds, this will provide a modern, fit-for-purpose learning environment for the local community.
The college aims to enable every student to fulfil their learning potential through education that helps them develop skills, knowledge and personal qualities.
