LONDON, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Manpower Software plc, a leading provider of workforce optimisation and electronic rostering solutions, is pleased to announce that Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust, the largest employer in the area, has selected Manpower Software's MAPS Healthroster solution to more effectively manage its nursing staff, with the intention of eventual roll-out to other staff groups in the organisation.

The MAPS Healthroster solution has been selected to electronically roster nurses, to meet the demands of delivering excellent patient care, controlling costs and allowing flexible staff working. The project will also include interfacing to ESR (Electronic Staff Record HR and Payroll system), replacing manual timesheets, and improving overall payroll and sickness absence administration processes, this in turn will allow nursing staff to spend more time addressing patient care issues.
