HOUSTON, December 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Hunting PLC announced that it will donate proceeds from the 2010 Hunting Art Prize to Oilfield Helping Hands, a non-profit that provides assistance to Houston-area oil and gas industry workers who are in financial crisis.

The US$50,000 Hunting Art Prize - which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2010 - is among the largest annual art awards in the country, and is the largest award in North America for painting and drawing. Hunting moved the prize to Houston in 2006 after a quarter century in the United Kingdom, where the prize emerged as one of Great Britain's top art awards.
The recipient of the 2010 award will be announced at a May 1 gala in Houston.
