TC Interconnect Holdings Limited (515.HK) (the Group / http://www.tatchun.com ), one of the top 10 Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturers in Hong Kong and the PRC and listed on the Main Board of Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, announced that it shifted its focus from single-sided and double-sided PCBs to multi-layered PCBs and turnover from multi-layered products achieved a remarkable growth of 109.6% to approximately HK$329,932,000 in 2008.
Consumer electronics, computers and computer peripherals, and communications equipment were the three main applications of its products, accounting for over 90% of its total turnover.
The Group is an export-oriented manufacturer and its clients mainly come from the US, Europe, Japan and South East Asia, including international well-known brands such as AOC, Brother, Canon, Gree, Jabil, Flextronics, Foxconn, Lite-On, Panasonic, Philips, Wistron etc.
With a view to expanding the high-end Japanese market, the Group signed a mutually exclusive agreement with NEC Toppan Circuit Solutions, Inc., a jointed venture company established by NEC Corporation and Toppan Printing Company Limited in September 2007 by promoting its products in Japan as well as overseas Japanese companies in Asia.
In July 2007, it also signed a sales representative agreement with S/G Electronics Incorporated, in which S/G Electronics agrees to promote the automotive PCB products manufactured by the Group to its customers in the global automotive industries as well as other industries primarily in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Paul Yeung, Chairman of TC Interconnect said, To secure high volume production, we have two production plants of 110,000 square meters, located in Zhongshan, Guangdong, the PRC with a combined annual production capacity of approximately 36 million square feet. Plant 1 mainly produces 1 to 8 layered PCBs where Plant 2 mainly produces 4 to 12 layered and HDI PCBs.
TC Interconnect was founded in 1988. It principally engages in manufacturing and selling of single-sided, double-sided, multi-layered PCBs up to 12-layer, and HDI PCBs to multinational brand customers and EMS companies. It has a short turnaround mass production lead time. The products are in excellent quality and are accredited by ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, ISO/TS16949:2002, and CQC Certification.
