About Jamie I am a PhD student (or DPhil as it's called here) at the University of Oxford, in the UK. I study geochronological dating techniques as they apply to archaeology. I am originally from Colorado, in the USA, and long to return there after finishing my PhD, with the intention of spending the rest of my life sucking up the traditional 300+ days of sunshine per annum. Fieldwork is absolutely the best part of my research, and, as my avatar demonstrates, I enjoy field fashion. When I am not thinking about my research, I enjoy bicycling, mountain biking, and producing and hosting an indie rock radio show on our student station, Oxide Radio.
