But effective today, I am back in business. This means no more four-day hiatuses in updates of my blog (due to the trouble with accessing the web from the remote locations I have confined myself in), and a more effective coverage of news from the world of High-Energy Physics.
It also means that I will try to get back to my usual attention in answering comments in the threads -something which I had warned the more attentive readers about, as I left for holidays.
One of the things I want to do after this refreshing pause in my research activities is to prepare a course on Subnuclear Physics for 5th year undergraduates. I will give the course this fall, and this constitutes both a burden and a stimulus for me. The course will cover:
- weak interactions
- QCD rudiments
- the standard model
- collider physics
- hints at physics beyond the standard model
and a few other things. I hope to be able to paste here some of the ideas and material that I will prepare for the course, in the next couple of months. So if you are interested, stay tuned!
