LONDON, January 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Misys, the UK banking and healthcare software maker, today released results for the six months ending 30 November 2008 crediting a 'resilient performance' to its differentiated business model.

The group reported revenue growth across all business divisions, despite what it described as difficult market conditions. Revenue was up 22% at GBP280m while operating profits from continuing operations nearly tripled to GBP72m.

In a video interview on financial broadcaster Cantos Mike Lawrie, Misys CEO, looks at the group's results including performance highlights, the integration of AllscriptsMysis, Banking performance and drivers, current trading and the outlook for the next six months.

Mr Lawrie said the key to the group's performance was the ability to be flexible and quick to innovate.

The key is you have to be nimble. You have to spot those changes and then you have to be able to assemble the solution and the skills and the people to go and capture that opportunity.
