NEC, a global leader in enterprise business communications, today announced the introduction of a host of new Unified Communications (UC) and infrastructure offerings for both SMB (Small & Medium Businesses) and Enterprises in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region.
The new solutions build on NEC's UNIVERGE(R)360 approach, which puts people, rather than technology, at the centre of business communications. They include UNIVERGE SV8100 and 8300 communications servers and a family of IP and digital terminals, in combination with innovative UC applications such as Business ConneCT.
UNIVERGE 360 makes Role-Based Communications a reality
By tailoring communications to employees' roles, rather than having technology dictate how users communicate, UNIVERGE 360 enables companies to improve work efficiency and information availability.

Features include calling number and name display, conferencing, soft keys, voicemail, unified messaging, speed dialling and support for wireless handsets and softphones.
Revolutionary terminals offer unique customisation and modularity
NEC's new line of customisable IP and digital terminals, UNIVERGE DT700/DT300, are unique in their modular design and configuration options. Their extensive feature sets move the standard desktop phone to the next level. Revolutionary is the 8,000 combinations it allows to fit almost any business's needs or personalization requirements.
Unified Communications
Supported across new and existing platforms, Business ConneCT is an all-in-one application suite designed to address more complex organizational needs with rich presence, mobility, unified messaging and desktop telephony applications as well as operator and contact centre functionality.
