YAROSLAVL, Russia, September 17 /PRNewswire/ -- TGC-2 (MICEX, RTS: TGKB), the largest heat and power generating company in the Northern part of Russia, releases Annual Report 2007.
Strategic goal of the Company is the investment attractiveness and capitalization growth.
The Company was formed under the decision of its single founder RAO UES of Russia and registered on April 19, 2005 in Yaroslavl.
The formation of the Company's Target Structure was completed on May 3, 2007 through a merger with the six regional generating companies, which were created as a result of reforming AO-energo. The largest shareholders of the Company are KORES INVEST Ltd. and Archivo Limited - 45.35% and 25.95% from voting shares.
TGC-2 comprises generating assets of six regions: Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kostroma, Novgorod, Tver and Yaroslavl. The Company produces heat and power, transports and sales heat (steam and hot water) to its consumers.
The Company operates (including 1 associated company) 16 CHPPs, 13 boiler - houses and 5 enterprises of heat pipelines. Moreover the Company manages on a leasehold basis 55 boiler plants in regions - Arkhangelsk, Kostroma and Tver. The associated company of TGC-2 is Industrial Mini CHPP Beliy Ruchey.
The total installed capacity of TGC-2 enterprises (including 1 associated company) is 2,582.5 MW, the heat capacity is 12,789.5 Gcal/h (including the boiler - houses on a leasehold basis, i.e. 316.3 Gcal/h).
The Company realizes large Investment Program for reconstruction and extension of operating generating assets. The additional shares of the Company were issued in 2Q2008 to attract investments.
The Company's capitalization is around 35 billion rubles. Shares of the Company are included into the Quotation List of leading Russian stock exchanges MICEX and RTS. TGC-2 shares circulate also as Global Depositary Receipts (GDR) outside of the Russian Federation.
The number of Company's employees is more than seven thousand.
