The following statements are based on the personal experience of WSTEWART: 1) People who exercise aerobically every day or two are less susceptible to respiratory and other infections. 2) Lack of regular aerobic exercise during an infection lengthens recovery time. 3) The fastest recovery from an infection occurs when one reduces stress by returning to bed immediately after finishing ones regular aerobic exercise regimen. 4) Recovery takes longer if one tries to increase one's fitness level by training harder before complete recovery.
