- CESG Information Assurance and Certification Services Certifies Latest Version of Blancco
Blancco Ltd., the global leader in data erasure and end-of-lifecycle solutions, today announced that CESG (part of the UK Government Communications Headquarters) has approved the latest version of Blancco's data erasure software. Having met all of the criteria for secure erasure of magnetic media in accordance with CESG and HMG Infosec standards. Following independent testing carried out by QinetiQ, under contract to CESG. Blancco is therefore approved for government use to securely erase protectively marked data. Furthermore, Blancco 4.8 HMG client erasure software has been duly added to the CESG Directory of Infosec Assured Products.
