Bytemobile, Inc., the global leader in mobile internet solutions for network operators, today announced the appointment of Nick Henry as vice president, Worldwide Systems Integration.

Henry's charter is to grow Bytemobile's business as an integrator of total system solutions around its Unison(TM) Mobile Internet Platform. Deployed in the core data path of the network, these solutions comprise third-party hardware platforms, operating systems, load balancers, switches, and application software.

Based in the U.K., Henry brings to Bytemobile over 20 years of systems integration, business development and sales management experience in the telecommunications and media segments. He joins the company from Hewlett-Packard, where he was head of the Consulting and Integration Practice for the Communications, Media and Entertainment (CME) Sector. In this role, Henry was responsible for the design, development and delivery of comprehensive solutions for major European operators such as BT, H3G, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, and Vodafone, as well as leading media companies. Previously, he had served as sales director, HP Services, for the CME business unit.

Before joining Hewlett-Packard, Henry was director, Sales and Business Development, for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at InfoSpace Mobile, a global provider of application services to network operators. He was also a principal consultant in the Information, Communications and Entertainment practice at KPMG Consulting and head of Product Management for Switching Systems and OEM Products in Motorola's GSM Division. Henry began his career as a telecommunications account manager at IBM U.K.

Henry holds a M.B.A. degree from Henley Management College and a diploma in Business and Finance from Farnborough College of Technology.
