Usman Ismail, executive vice president of international sales and business development of Lewtan Technologies, Inc.(R), provider of asset-backed securities surveillance, analytics, and content for the global securitization industry, today announced the promotion of Jamie Harper to vice president of European, Middle Eastern and African regions (EMEA).
Mr. Harper started his career at Lewtan as an individual contributor and rapidly transitioned into the director of sales for the London office. "This past year Jamie has built an excellent sales team and under his leadership he has made ABSNet(TM) the premier surveillance tool in Europe. Today we have over 120 customers in Europe and we are the market leaders" said Ismail. "In his expanded management role, Jamie's strong leadership qualities will be very welcome in further enhancing our position in Europe as Lewtan moves to establish itself as the leading solution provider for both issuer and investor products and services. As vice president of EMEA, Mr. Harper will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the London office in addition to responsibility for business development within the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Mr. Harper will be critical to Lewtan as it continues to grow into new and emerging European markets.
Mr. Harper has 18 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Lewtan, Mr. Harper held positions as head of sales and marketing at Thomson IFR, business development at Moody's RMS, sales & marketing director at IFex and senior vice president at Demica. Mr. Harper attended Southampton University, UK (Chemistry with Biochemistry Joint Honours).
