TEL AVIV, Israel, March 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- QualiSystems (http://www.qualisystems.com/), a leading provider of test automation solutions ( http://www.qualisystems.com/site/content/t2.asp?Pid=391&Sid=83) for network systems, telecom services and electronic equipment, today announced the opening of a new APAC regional branch in Singapore.

The new APAC HQ was launched in response to extensive interest in the company's TestShell test automation framework ( http://www.qualisystems.com/site/Content/t2.asp?pid=500&sid=73) from major telecoms and network service providers in the region. It will manage sales and post-sales services and support to customers throughout APAC, and will strengthen the company's existing local offices and channels in the region including in China, Taiwan, Japan, Australia and the recently opened office in Korea.

Singapore's IDA (Infocomm Development Agency) has strongly supported the opening of the new office, recognizing QualiSystems as an engine of growth for the local economy and infocomm development.

Ronen Naishtein, QualiSystems VP Sales APAC, who has relocated to Singapore to manage growing regional sales operations, said: "We are delighted to open this new branch in Singapore, which is evidence of APAC's increasing importance to our growth plans. Singapore is a major regional hub and service center for tier-one telecom carriers and manufacturers and will provide an excellent base for us to capitalize our regional growth, while strengthening our 'customer first' culture."
