- Johnson & Johnson Medical to Participate as a Key Sponsor of the Event
More than 600 top hospital administrators from throughout Europe will convene in Graz, Austria on September 25 and 26 for the European Association of Hospital Managers Congress. The theme of this year's event is "New Leadership for New Challenges" and the sessions address the importance of personal and organizational leadership in generating a strong impact on the changing multi-stakeholder health care environment.
Johnson & Johnson Medical, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, will participate as a main sponsor of this year's Congress. The company, which has a broad portfolio of innovative medical devices and diagnostics for minimally-invasive and surgical procedures, is organizing a series of activities that will further highlight the importance of medical technology in treating patients effectively and creating greater economic value for the healthcare system.
A few of the products that will be showcased at the Johnson & Johnson Medical booth include market leading products for orthopedic surgery, cardiovascular disease treatment, advanced surgical devices for bariatric surgery and anti-bacterial sutures. The Johnson & Johnson franchises that will be present include Cordis, DePuy, Ethicon, Ethicon Endo-Surgery and Biosense Webster.

The European Association of Hospital Managers, which was founded in 1970, organizes this Congress every two years and the number of participants continues to grow. The next Congress is scheduled to take place in Davos, Switzerland on September 16-17, 2010 and then in 2012 in Athena, Greece.
