Afraid of chemicals? Have a look in the mirror and all you see are chemicals - they are the building blocks of the human body - what we breathe and eat - yet perceived as something alien.

The chemical company Yaaparra Ltd has created a new tool to inform about the chemical ID of mankind - a 'Human Race Identification Card'. It is a different type of ID card that does not discriminate between individuals because chemically we are all of the same stuff..

The ID card aims to tell us not to fear chemicals in general but to discriminate between them to understand long term health risks and environmental impacts. "In depth knowledge of human chemistry helps to create new products that present minimum risk," says Yaaparra director Goeran Ulin, "Like our bio mimetic fire retardant chemical that is inspired by the citric acid cycle (Krebs cycle) in human metabolism."

This ID card can be copied electronically for free at www.yaaparra.co.uk but you must print on paper yourself.

About Yaaparra Ltd.

Tens of thousands of flammable consumer products contain fire retardant (FR) chemicals. Many different FR chemicals are used - some have been banned and many others are controversially linked to human health and product end-of-life issues. A web search for "flame retardants" will show the scope of the FR issue.

This is why the bio mimetic FR named "Molecular Heat Eater" (MHE) has been created. Developed from the perspective of human metabolism, MHE is made of foodstuffs edible to humans - hence 'evaluated by evolution' = 'future proof fire safety'.

Yaaparra Limited is registered in England and Wales since September 2005.
