What ever happened to melee attachments on weapons? The bayonet was a good melee weapon, it actually stopped most in their tracks(when bullets didn't). Why is it barely used anymore? It did a lot more than the butt of a rifle. Sure, your rifle butt can give them a concussion or nock the wind out of them, but untill their knocked out or dead, they can still shoot you. I think we need to have more effective melee attachments or melee based weapons. I think the government also needs to be willing to spend more on mass produced materials and weapons for our troops. It's obvious that the "Must be cheap to mass produce" method isn't going to save any lives over there. It's time they start producing more expensive weaponry and body armor instead of those cheap Assault Rifles made out of plastic and metal alloys (which I hear jam like crazy) and that body armor made from Kevlar (which I heard DragonSkin was better but "Failed" testing because it was going to be expensive to mass produce).
