CAS AG, the leading global provider of demand side management solutions for the consumer products industry, today announced that Michael King, a 25+ year software industry veteran and former PeopleSoft, Oracle and Lawson executive, has joined CAS as Vice President, Sales.

King joins CAS from Lawson, where he served as vice president of global sales operations responsible for the America's, EMEA and Asia Pacific. Prior to Lawson, King served as national vice president of strategic accounts at Oracle, where he managed a national sales consulting team spanning multiple industries including, retail and CPG and key application product lines including Oracle, PeopleSoft and JDEdwards.
King was also group vice president for PeopleSoft, where he directed solution consulting for the Americas, managed a global team to drive new product launches and sales initiatives including HCM, CRM, BI, Technology and SCM, and was responsible for a global pre-sales industry team. In addition, King has held senior management positions at Marcam Corporation, American Software, Hayes Microcomputer Products and Arthur Andersen and Company.
