LONDON, January 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Acision, the world's leading messaging company, today announces the appointment of Tony Morrish as senior vice president and general manager for Europe, Russia and Africa. In this role, Morrish will take responsibility for managing Acision's business and revenue growth across the region.

Morrish joins Acision from Sonus Networks, where he held the position of vice president and general manager for the company's EMEA operations. Under his leadership Morrish grew Sonus business in the region substantially winning major new accounts and extending sales coverage into new geographies. Morrish brings with him over 25 years of communications and technology experience to the role, leading teams at international companies including Cisco Systems. Morrish also has invaluable experience building and leading start up companies in Europe such as Juniper Networks in the late 90's.
