LOS ANGELES, September 16 /PRNewswire/ --

Andy Fraser, legendary musician and songwriter, best known for penning FREE's rock anthem "All Right Now," Robert Palmer's mega-hit "Every Kinda People" and recent ground-breaking CD "Naked... and finally free," is in legal controversy with ex-Expose singer Gioia Bruno.

Bruno has been hit with 'cease and desist' orders, copyright infringement, and illegal distribution of a Master funded by Mctrax International on behalf of Andy Fraser Music Publishing. (Administrated by the PEN Music group).

Bruno was hired by Mctrax International to sing with Fraser, on a dance remix version of his earlier "Obama Yes we can" http://www.YouTube.Com/watch?v=l67Gp9wV8Oc

The original, released early '08, proved to be a favorite at campaign rallies, is a free download on Fraser's new politically oriented web site, http://www.ObamaRocks08.com which encourages voter education/involvement/ links to Obama's official site and Rock the Vote to register for upcoming election.

The song is a hit with radio listeners who could win ipod shuffles preloaded with song in the "Is that an Obama in your pocket?" contest.

Bruno added her voice to the new version, funded by Mctrax, with remix producers of her choosing, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YG4X72y4ZpM, then deleted Fraser's performance and all references to him.

(Initially, a 'mash-up' included 'All Right Now' for extended club mix. Bruno currently promoting project as her own).

Says Fraser, "I'm really hurt such a thing could be done by a fellow musician. I thought this stuff went away with the hucksters from the '60s".

Gioia Bruno, who at one time enjoyed chart success with Expose, clearly hoped this could bring a much needed club-hit.

Meanwhile, Fraser is finalizing upcoming EP "Now" featuring 4 new videos, including LIVE clip from long-awaited "ALIVE" concert/documentary DVD, to be released shortly thereafter. Nearly completed CD "On Assignment" also scheduled for '09.
