Endeavour International Corporation (Amex: END) (LSE: ENDV) today announced that its subsidiary, Endeavour Energy Norge AS, has been awarded interests in two production licenses (PL) on the Norwegian Continental Shelf as part of the Awards in Predefined Areas 2007 licensing round conducted by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.

Endeavour was awarded a twenty percent interest in PL457 which includes part of block 16/1 and a twenty-five percent interest in PL453S containing part of each of the following blocks: 8/4, 8/5, 8/7, 8/8, 8/9, 8/11 and 8/12. The total gross acreage included in these licenses is 538,000 acres bringing the company's total Norwegian acreage to 1,423,000 acres.
