- Clean Technology Bringing Daylight Indoors

Semplice Energy Limited, a leading provider of CleanTech energy solutions to reduce electricity consumption and CO2 emissions, today announced an exclusive agreement with Enosayv, provider of the latest energy efficient luminaires, to add their award winning lighting products to the Semplice 'Bright' technology solution portfolio.

Low energy lighting is now becoming a widely used alternative to conventional lighting for consumers and companies looking to lower their energy bills and carbon footprint. However, organisations and the media still need to constantly educate people on the importance of turning lights off when they are not being used. Changing people's behaviour to reflect this requires a great deal of time and effort and is difficult to put it in to practice.

Combining a unique, highly reflective optical design with integrated controls, Enosayv's patented luminaire offers significant energy savings over conventional light fittings. Each luminaire incorporates occupancy and daylight controls. This means a building's lighting can be managed on a light fitting-by-light fitting basis rather than by room, area or circuit. The fittings are intelligent enough to be independently programmed for automatic activation through the use of a small remote control device. Lighting can be automated in low occupancy areas such as warehouses or low traffic areas of offices to switch themselves on and off depending on movement in the area.

The most innovative feature is the ability to keep light levels constant throughout the day. Natural light is always the best option in buildings. However, natural light is unpredictable and fluctuates. The individual Enosayv fittings diagnose the ambient light levels and constantly adjust the light intensity to achieve predetermined lux levels. As a consequence organisations are seeing 70 - 80% cost savings over conventional lighting products.

"We're very excited to be working with Enosayv's award winning products" said Mark Truswell, CEO, Semplice Energy. "Taking an intelligent technology approach to lighting can significantly impact an organisation's energy consumption whilst creating no additional pressure on staff behaviour. Enosayv are a great example of how new innovative clean technologies can make a difference to a company's bottom line and provide a positive effect on the environment."

"I'm delighted to form this relationship with Semplice Energy as I can easily see how customers can benefit from Enosayv products alongside Semplice clean technology solutions" commented Iain Cooksley, Managing Director, Enosayv. "It's great to be aligned with a company who operate with a similar philosophy to ours of lowering the customer's energy consumption and creating measurable cost savings. Semplice Energy are leading the way with an innovative best-of-breed portfolio of clean technologies, and continuing to build on it with the addition of Enosayv products."

Customers already working with Enosayv include Coca Cola Bottlers, Superquinn and Shamrock foods.
