LONDON, September 24 /PRNewswire/ -- World Low Cost Airlines Congress 2008 - GuestLogix Inc. (TSX-V:GXI), the leading provider of on-board retail systems to the airline industry, today announced an agreement with Saudi Arabian Airlines Catering Company ("SAAC"), one of the largest airline caterers in the Middle East. The deal will result in GuestLogix' Mobile Virtual Store(TM) technology and platform being deployed on-board SAAC's airline customers in the region.

GuestLogix signed a multi-year agreement with SAAC, a partnership formed between the recently privatized subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Airlines and an investment group that includes Toulouse-based Newrest Group's ILC, its in-flight services logistics provider. SAAC's catering business not only supplies the needs of Saudi Arabian Airlines, with more than 18 million passenger trips annually, but also those of 80 other airline customers some of which are anticipated to come on stream with GuestLogix.

Tom Douramakos, President and CEO of GuestLogix, said:

"This is a significant development for GuestLogix as it marks our entry into one of the most rapidly growing markets in the world. Our technology platform and merchandising programs are designed to help airlines enhance their on-board travel experience thereby achieving higher levels of customer satisfaction and more profitable revenues."

The GuestLogix Mobile Virtual Store(TM) offers proprietary handheld devices designed for the passenger travel market and a customizable Web-based back-end payment processing, inventory tracking, merchandising and promotions management system. The solution enables airlines to process on-board transactions using cash, credit cards, gift cards, loyalty rewards, and coupons. It can also be integrated with existing airline front-end and back-office applications. The GuestLogix solution will be deployed, in part, to automate SAAC airline partner shopping services which are offered on-board, on ground and online.

Christophe Parent, CEO of Saudi Arabian Airlines Catering Company, said:

"The GuestLogix system will help us to completely automate on-board transactions, grow sales and introduce new services. Our airline partners are committed to service quality and innovation, and we look forward to working with the industry's leader to tailor our in-flight offerings and maximize comfort and experience on-board each flight."

Sébastien-Réginald Gras, General Manager of ILC, commented:

"This partnership, with exclusivity for the Saudi Arabia region, enables us to reinforce our current in-flight service offering and commit to quality and reliability across the whole supply chain."
