About Joseph
Joseph is a specialist paediatrician, a clinical research fellow in Pharmacogenomics and an MD/PhD scholar. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Nigeria and completed his specialist training in Paediatrics in the Republic of Ireland. He has a special interest in Epilepsy, Personalized Medicine and Public Health.
His current research projects include - the Pharmacogenomics of Sodium Valproate-Induced Weight Gain and the Genes and Familial Forms of Epilepsy in the Irish Population.
He has presented over 30 abstracts at both national and international meetings. He contributed a book chapter in the Newborn Surgery 3rd Edition by Prem Puri. He has several publications.
His interests include tennis, reading, travelling and charity work.
