About Michael
Prof. Michael Eisen is an evolutionary biologist at U.C. Berkeley and an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. His research focuses on the evolution and population genomics of gene regulation in flies, and on the ways that microbes control animal behavior.
Prof. Eisen is a strong proponent of open science and a co-founder of the Public Library of Science. And most importantly, he is a Red Sox fan. He doesn't write here, the articles are reprinted with permission from his personal site, www.michaeleisen.org, so if you really need him to see a comment, it is probably better to do it over there.
