Some people feel like they were born in the wrong century and should have been born when there were cowboys or knights or whatever.   Paul Krugman simply thinks he was born in the wrong decade and should have come along two decades earlier than he did, when money was free, the Great Society was just being funded and activism mattered.

Instead, he is such a relic he got a Nobel prize in Economics, the surest sign of being out of touch with how markets actually work, and what little credibility that adds has made him talk more rather than less.    But it's bad enough the NY Times lets him write about America, where he says Democrats did not spend enough pretend money to not help the economy even less, now he is mucking around in Britain's affairs - and they don't like it.
