NEW YORK, May 25, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The Spa Resort/Medical Aesthetics Conference and Expo (www.spaandresortexpo.com) will return to New York this fall to educate, inspire, and empower beauty, skin care, and wellness professionals. The two-day trade show will take place from September 28-29, 2010 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The event will be part of HBA Global Events annual Beauty Week(TM), also at the Javits Center, starting September 28, 2010.

For the second year, Spa Resort will co-locate with the HBA Global Expo giving spa owners and managers, and skin care and medical professionals, a 360 degree experience of the entire life cycle of goods, from product conception to completion. UBMi, which owns and produces the HBA Global Expo Conference, has recently assumed the management of the Spa Resort shows. Both events showcase hundreds of new product samplings and treatments in the beauty, spa and aesthetic industries, live product demonstrations, and exhibitor presentations. One badge will provide attendees with access to all exhibitors and special booth and pavilion activities on both show floors during the two-days the shows overlap. Admission to the HBA Conference Programs taking place in the 1E Hall requires a different registration package.

We are very pleased to once again offer the combination of both the Spa Resort and HBA Global Expo, said Jill Birkett, Event Director. Our successful pairing provides attendees with an unparalleled opportunity to network with hundreds of leading companies, discover the latest trends and technical advances, and see first-hand the entire spectrum of product development.

In addition to the outstanding lineup that attendees and exhibitors have come to expect, UBMi has enhanced the 2010 program with new, educational sessions designed for plastic surgeons and dermatologists, as well as spa owners and skin care professionals, yoga and wellness training, manufacturing demonstrations, a Trend Spotting Stage and VIP program for spa buyers.

The HBA Global Conference Program will also offer educational programming on The Future of Skin Care, and The Four Rs of Spa Success as well as other business-building and marketing sessions.
