Notes to Editors:

(i) First there was teleconferencing, then video conferencing and now there is telepresence. Telepresence means that intimate, intuitive and effective interactions are occurring over great distances, without the need for physical travel. This is achieved by using state of the art audio and video technology, which allows conversations to take place in real time. The meeting experience is transparent, intimate and effective -- enabling colleagues to read verbal and non-verbal cues, sense the true tone of the meeting and feel each other's presence across the table.

(ii) Bob joined Teliris in December 2007 as Senior Vice President of Marketing Product Management. Bob has over 20 years experience in marketing / product management, application development/integration, and broadband networking. Most recently, Bob was Director of Marketing Product Management for Cisco's Remote Operations Services group where he was responsible for leading the development of Cisco Select Operate (Managed Services) for TelePresence.

Prior to Cisco, Bob was Executive Director at SAIC-Telcordia Technologies responsible for marketing and product management of Broadband Service Assurance, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, and Field Mobility/Dispatch software applications. Prior to SAIC, Bob was Vice President Marketing Product Management of Breakaway Solutions' Application Services division. Under his leadership, Breakaway Solutions was ranked as the industry's second largest Application Services Provider.

Earlier in his career, Bob held a variety of sales, marketing, and product management leadership roles with Ernst Young, Teleport Communications Group, and ATT. He is also a former Captain in the United States Marine Corps.
