About Anne My Ph.D. is in Geology/Geochemistry, with the degree from Florida State University and a grad student internship at the US Geological Survey. I spent a few years as a researcher at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. The output from that part of my career is captured at Google Scholar and ResearchGate and Microsoft's Academic site. I left the academic life for environmental consulting, and wound up working on science-based regulatory issues. I learned something about risk assessment and toxicology, as well as about environmental chemistry. This is what I'm interested in writing about - the intersection of science and regulation.
