The DC Universe may have a harder time defeating evil in "Shazam 3" because the secret weapon of "Shazam: Fury of the Gods" will get banned if Democrats succeed in their latest front in the Forever War Against Science.

It is not just Skittles they are after, it is also Hot Tamales, pez, and others. The reason is because they contain chemicals.

You read here so you already know everything is a chemical - if you didn't know science you'd work at Environmental Working Group - but with the pandemic over California Democrats can stop pretending to embrace evidence and get back to banning things like candy, Happy Meals, and even Golf while believing that vaccines cause autism and Bill Gates is ruining the planet by feeding poor people.

Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel is colluding with, of course, trial lawyers, in this case Environmental Working Group, because California remains America's most science-hostile state, despite two years of pretending otherwise. Their lawsuit-bait is, as is typical, homeopathy and endocrine-disrupting chemicals. Gabriel specifically lists Red Dye No. 3, Titanium Dioxide, Potassium Bromate, Brominated Vegetable Oil, or Propyl Paraben and claims those cause cancer despite there being no evidence that is true. If it were true, 72,000,000 Americans would be dead.

People are not dead, and no one literate accepts epidemiological correlation at face value any more, so they invoke something impossible to disprove - behavioral issues; the same autism they used to blame on vaccines can now be blamed on Dubble Bubble Twist Gum. They lament there is "no meaningful government oversight" of safe foods - and yet they are fine knowing that the toxic pesticides sprayed by their organic industry allies have no oversight at all.

They also want to expand their ability to sue by eliminating FDA's "generally recognized as safe” (GRAS) classification, which is why ordinary foods we've eaten for millennia are not forced to go through the federal government approval process.

EWG has long sought to have GRAS eliminated - except for the products made by the corporations who give EWG millions of dollars each year.
