If you have a Kinect and Goggles and an augmented reality program, what would you create?

Apparently a Japanese anime singer girlfriend, so you could bop her on the head.  I can't figure out any of this, but Hackaday gives it a shot so give them a read.  I just know that, weird dynamic with the virtual girlfriend aside, this is darn cool.

    Dance, Hatsune Miku, dance!

    Wow!

Forget the crazy anime stuff. Focus on what science could do with an advanced copy of this. Fancy a virtual walk on Mars? Would you like to stroll thru the hot pile at a nuke facility? There is potential here.

Aside: Who knew that Miku could do the River Dance?

Was that the River Dance?  I wasn't kidding about being confused as much as awed by how cool it was.  I mean, when he bops her on the head and tries to look in her shirt I was thinking, "Well, it's Japan..."
