This weekend, teams of middle school students from Northern California will present their Future City projects to develop solutions responding to this year’s theme: Feeding Future Cities. They join more than 40,000 middle school students from 1,350 schools in 37 regions around the country in similar regional competitions.
The event will be held at California State University Stanislaus, 1 University Circle, Turlock, CA 95382, starting at 8AM. The winner will be announced at approximately 4:00 PM on Saturday, the 24th.
First-place winners from each qualifying regional competition receive a trip to the Future City Competition National Finals in Washington, D.C., February 15-18th, 2015, prior to Engineers Week.
