TORONTO, January 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Comprehensive Care International (CCI), a leading healthcare project management firm, is pleased to announce its selection as the vendor of choice for the new B.C. Cancer Agency's Centre for the North.
CCI Equipment Plus(R) specialists will support this P3 project by ensuring that the furniture and equipment is congruent with the clinical needs and nuances of the new Centre. The completed project will comply with the requirements of the approved clinical specification, and ensure that detailed output specifications and procurement strategies for furniture and equipment represent current and future standards in evidence-based design.
The new Cancer Centre for the North project is the latest initiative to support the Northern Cancer Control Strategy. The Strategy is a partnership among the Provincial Health Services Authority, Northern Health Authority, and the BC Cancer Agency. The Provincial Health Services Authority has also engaged Partnerships British Columbia Inc. to assist in managing the design and construction of the new Centre. The new Centre will be situated on the Prince George Regional Hospital site and be integrated with the hospital to receive clinical support services. The new Centre will primarily be an outpatient facility and offer a variety of services to the region.
Our CCI Equipment Plus(R) team is excited to play a role in moving this project forward, says Katherine Jones, president and CEO of CCI. We welcome the opportunity to apply our combined expertise in oncology as well as furniture and equipment planning to support the BC Cancer Agency's mandate to reduce the incidence of cancer and improve the quality of life for people living with cancer. Specifically this project will help improve patient access to specialized care within the northern community of British Columbia.
