Yes, Yes! Attack the man to discredit his message! CNN is doing wonderful work! Take notes all - when documents are released detailing the deaths of 100,000 + people, make sure you ask the man who released the documents about his relationship with co-workers and his private life. If you are lucky, you will distract enough mindless fools.

War crimes is an important topic, objectively. Attacking the messenger is subjective and not very professional. The CNN reporter made her point and should have stopped that personal angle long before she did. And she would still have served her role as a critical journalist.

I think it was disrespectful of CNN.

Whether WikiLeak is acting wisely with respect to releasing those documents, is another issue. I am honestly not sure what to think. But Assange was correct in leaving, he gave several polite warnings before he left.

I think he has become a maniac about the US Army, though.   His volunteers are disgruntled because it started out as being clarity and is now just about getting the US.    There are 120 dictatorships engaged in all kinds of bad things they don't disclose, even though people in those countries are at far more personal risk to obtain that information, and he has no interest in them any more.

Neither of you thinks it's ironic he wants full disclosure for others and then leaves an interview when the details are about him?  Really?
"Neither of you thinks it's ironic he wants full disclosure for others and then leaves an interview when the details are about him? Really?"

    Yes, really.

He is irrelevant. I don't care about Justin Beiber, either.

Care to talk about the documents detailing the deaths of 100,000 + people or is that above your school-girl mentality?

If you read it, those deaths weren't caused by Americans, they were caused by Iraqis, many of them the same Baathists who caused the trouble in the first place.   Assange is on a vendetta against the US but his documents validate Bush - they show Iraq had a mass murdering sociopath with rape rooms, chemical weapons of mass destruction and, worse for now, it provides ammo against Iran.    Assange should stick to harassing women and being such a jerk even volunteers who believe in what he's doing can't stand to be around him - if he's trying to make the US look bad, he is failing.

But again, you seem to think 'transparency' applies to everyone but him - as does he - and I think that's hypocritical.

Do you think that transparency is a good thing Hank?

I think if I were risking the lives of thousands of Afghanis by not redacting their names from the documents and then having a hissy fit about being asked a question by CNN, I would be a hypocrite.     Unlike Assange, I would recognize it.   Do you have a point or are you going to find a way to make this about you?
    Bonny Bonobo alias Brat
No I was just curious. I also don't think it was good to endanger all those lives by not redacting the names.

'I think if I were risking the lives of thousands of Afghanis by not redacting their names'

You can't think above a school girl level let alone handle the responsibility of running a world wide organization that the Pentagon fears and will do anything to destroy.

    Hank
That is the second time you have used 'girl' as an insult and the third time you used a child reference.  You sure seem to hate females.   Wasn't Assange arrested for that?
Yeah, I can see how comparing you to a girl is EXTREMELY insulting to girls. Sorry girls.

'If you read it, those deaths weren't caused by Americans, they were caused by Iraqis, many of them the same Baathists who caused the trouble in the first place. So why did we invade Iraq? How was Bush right? Iran support is after the fact. They are an ajancent contry. We would do the EXACT same thing.

No WMD's and the human right's abuses, tortures and killings got MUCH worse. But ignore that we spent over a trillion dollars to make things worse because the guy who the truth came from had sex without a condom.

You are such a childish idiot that it isn't even worth discussing with you.

    Hank
I'm not the one name calling but if you want to believe those documents implicate anyone except Iraqis that's okay, even if it shows you don't know how to read - the only negative for the US govt is they said they didn't keep numbers of deaths when they did - it still wasn't done by Americans.

Obviously you are free to support any homicidal mass murdering dictator you please, even a dead one - that is what makes freedom great.  But I assume you don't do it from any country that actually has a mass murdering homicidal dictator, which means you are just as hypocritical as Assange.   He put a lot of Afghans in extreme danger because of his ego, you simply whine on the Internet.
'Obviously you are free to support any homicidal mass murdering dictator you please'

Wow are you a moron. The USA supported that mass murdering dictator for 15+ years while he was doing the mass murdering. You have heard of the Iraq/Iran 8 year war where over 1,000,000 people died right? You also are smart enough to discuss how America prolonged it for those eight years supporting Saddam AND Iran at the same time, thus leading to the Iran-Contra affair? Remember that? You know that the chemical weapons he did use, we sold to him TO USE, right?

'He put a lot of Afghans in extreme danger because of his ego, you simply whine on the Internet.'

And you fell for it HOOK, LINE, AND SINKER. The Pentagon has fully admitted that was BS and nothing has happened. That is a talking point for retards.

Oh yeah I forgot, also some guy had sex without a condom.
