    Tendu patta  (Diospyros melanoxylon) leaves are used for wrapping the tobacco and making " beedis " or Indian cigar.





    This plant has beutiful flowers also.
     













    A tree in front of University of Rajasthan Jaipur was in full bloom in March 2010. Hope we could have more such trees on our roadsides if love for plants will return to Jaipur again.
