In the Middle East, Kuwait National Airways (Wataniya), who will commence operations in January 2009 with a fleet of A320s and Royal Jet based in Abu Dhabi, who serve the needs of the area with a sizeable fleet of Business Jet aircraft, have joined the ever-expanding AIMS client base in the Middle East region, which includes Etihad, Gulf Air, MEA Middle East Airlines, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian and Yemenia.
Expanding on their already unprecedented market share in Europe, their clients now include WHITE Airways of Portugal, who provide logistical support for the Corporate, Inclusive Tour, and the Oil Industry with an operating fleet of helicopter, Airbus and Corporate Jet aircrafts, Air Slovakia of the Slovak Republic who provide scheduled and charter services to Europe, the Middle East and India, and Blue Wings whose rapidly expanding fleet of Airbus' operate scheduled, unscheduled and ad-hoc charters out of Germany.
Aerocontractors, the specialist operator for the Oil and Gas Industry in Nigeria, who operate a fleet of Helicopter and Boeing 737 aircraft, providing much needed logistical support to the Nigerian Oil Industry, also joined an ever expanding AIMS client base within Africa which includes Virgin Nigeria, Air Algerie, Comair and Kulula.
Serving the needs of Northern Canada, AIMS signed First Air, a unique carrier operating in the Arctic with every type of northern air operation imaginable, and Sunwing, the fastest growing tour operator in Canada with a fleet of 737-800, to complement our long standing client Air Transat, Canada's largest tour operator.
