- Entertainment Industry Veteran Reavis Daniel Moore Appointed Chairman

- Company Teams up With Digital Music Pioneer Ted Cohen and Tag Strategic

YouLicense.com, the online music licensing marketplace, today announced it has secured Series A funding from Ofer Media, Israel's leading private equity and investment firm for media, entertainment and Internet companies, and Logia Group LTD, a global provider of innovative mobile content solutions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The funding will be used to grow the company's global marketing efforts and content acquisitions.

With operations in Tel Aviv, London and New York, YouLicense.com has developed the only truly open and non-exclusive online music licensing marketplace. Artists, record labels and music aggregators can now easily offer music for commercial license through YouLicense.com. The platform directly connects buyers and sellers of music rights with a simple toolkit for quick and easy transaction processing.

"Digital music is in a rapid state of development and transformation. As more artists feel empowered by technology, they have expanding opportunities to sell their content. For music licensees, including advertisers and entertainment producers, there is an increasing inventory of tracks becoming available. We see a tremendous opportunity for YouLicense.com to open up a global marketplace for music licensing," said Avi Zvi, CEO, Ofer Media.

"We created YouLicense.com as a way for independent artists to easily and securely license their music," said Maor Ezer, CEO of YouLicense.com. "The Web is opening up incredible opportunities for artists to reach a global audience without the need for a hefty recording deal. This platform promotes the legal use of indie artist music for television, film, games, commercials and user generated videos. We expect the worldwide scope of this to be massive."

Reavis Daniel Moore joins as chairman

Additionally, YouLicense.com has named Reavis Daniel Moore as chairman of its Board of Directors and equity partner via his firm Serve Music. Moore has 28 years experience as a music business entrepreneur and advisor based in Austin, Los Angeles and New York.
