About R P Born and raised in Uttarakhand state of India, where he lived until his M.Sc. (Physics) education. Soon after M.Sc, he moved to New Delhi in 1998 and joined National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi and worked as research fellow in condensed matter group under department of science and technology funded project. In 1999 - 2000, he left National Physical Laboratory and decided to work with world class instrumentation companies to serve research and scientific community in different horizons. The year 1999 was the best year for him; he successfully got opportunity to start his carrier with private sector companies. In the very beginning of his carrier, he was fortunate to work with upper end process, analytical instruments. His key attention was towards, installation / commissioning and applications of JEOL Japan make scanning and transmission electron microscopy, Brabender, Germany make research grade polymer extruders. After starting his journey in 1999, he worked almost 17 years with private companies (India and abroad) in a variety of instruments and served various R&D organizations, Universities, DRDO labs and major petrochemical industries / material science and spectroscopy. High end process instrumentation and spectroscopy is his key strength. During last 15 years of his carrier, he received advance instrumentation trainings at M/s Ceast s.p.a Italy, M/s Metravib r.d.s.France, M/s Maris Italy and M/s Feutron GmbH Germany. He has visited various countries like JAPAN, Germany, France, Geneva, Italy, UK, Malaysia, USA, Egypt, UAE,China for serving customers and learning more R&D facts in instrumentation. In year 2010, once again he thought of entering into academics and joined research activities at National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra (India). There he worked working in the field of graphene based nano biosensors. Dr. Joshi also produced and directed 2 regional films in India. One of his movies was a super hit concept and he bagged several awards in the category of best direction. There are 16 research papers in his credit and more than 22 design and process patents (filed / approved ). Presently Dr. Joshi is Founder and CEO of RI Instruments and Innovation India and RI Nanotech India. He is also Managing Director of RINZTECH NZ LTD New Zealand. These companies are engaged in developing / designing upper end research instruments and smart Materials is India and New Zealand.. Few of their Indian designed instruments, like RAMAN, RIUS And RIMS ( modular Raman Spectrometer and work station ) spectrometers are appreciated by scientific community and widely accepted across the globe. He is also one of the Advisors for Biostandups (Honoris) and CEO / Founder of RI Nanotech India ( a Division of RI Instruments and Innovation India).
