I got spammed with a 'carnival' that looks suspiciously like another self-promotion effort, namely because it's chock full of the usual suspects and a few token outside pieces from people no one anyone has ever heard of - but you can check it out for yourself: Natural sciences carnival.

There are so many carnivals out there, that I don't understand the point anymore. Most of it's pretty mediocre.

I guess it was a good idea once. We did one early last year but Berci got us into it so it was worth a try.

We should do our own carnival, I guess, if everyone does them. And our own awards.

I own BestScienceBlogs.com and we could do an award every year.

I also can't wait for our v2 to go online. It will make comment tracking of things like blog comments and replies a lot easier.
