Will You Give Sheepswool Sheep?

I'm no Dr. Seuss, or even Zseuss.  But encouraged by Becky's enjoyment of my Grasshopper Green, here's another few words.  I hope that, perhaps, my words may be of help to educators and to students of English as a foreign language.

Will you give sheepswool sheep?
My bones grow old,
So make me a blanket
To keep out the cold.

I wake at night cold,
 Getting old, as I am,
But I'd sleep like a baby
 If I were a lamb.

I'd sleep in the meadow if I was a sheep
And count playing children
As I fell asleep.
