    MH370 Transcript - Official Release

Malaysian authorities have released the transcript of communications between flight MH370 and ground.  Unfortunately, most media outlets reporting this news are either not citing the transcript in full or are not providing their readers with a link to the original.

As a public service I am posting here  the two pages as published in pdf form together with a plain text version.

For readers unfarmiliar with 'pushback' -

12:27:27 ... Requesting push and start
12:27:34 ... Push back and start approved ...
    12:27:40 ... [acknowledged]
    12:27:45 ...
    12:32:13 ... request taxi.

After passenger embarkation, between 12:27:40 and 12:32:13 the plane was literally pushed back away from the terminal to a clear and safe area where the engines were started and various pre-flight checks made.

Thanks for this.  It is so disturbing to think how we can loose a plane right here on Earth and not be able to find it with all our modern technology.

So why did the Malaysian Government repeatedly tell the world that the pilot's last words were 'All right, goodnight' when we now know that he really said 'Good night, Malaysian three seven zero'

Also, why would the Malaysian Government still have 'sealed evidence that cannot be made public' as is being reported in so many MH370 news articles? Do you have any idea what sort of information that could be Patrick?

My article about researchers identifying a potential blue green algae cause & L-Serine treatment for Lou Gehrig's ALS, MND, Parkinsons & Alzheimers is at http://www.science20.com/forums/medicine

Most likely it was a translation problem.  A previous "transcript" posted on the web was translated from English to Mandarin and back to English.  ATC comms are in English.  Informal reports of those comms can be in any local language and then translated (loosely) into English.

Also, why would the Malaysian Government still have 'sealed evidence that cannot be made public' as is being reported in so many MH370 news articles? Do you have any idea what sort of information that could be Patrick?

In any  accident investigation there is information which cannot be made public for legal reasons.  In the case of international laws and treaties regarding air accidents the rules are even more tight.  Such information might be about people or about the operations of policy within companies.
